Xiang-Tian Kong is an active researcher in the field of nanophotonics. He has continuous research interests in plasmonic nanoparticles, plasmonic waveguide, graphene nanoplasmonics, hot electron generation and injection, plasmonic circular dichroism, et al. He is an expert in theoretical modeling in nanophotonics and optics simulations and skillful in experimental data processing.
In June 2013, he obtained his Ph.D. in physics at Nankai University, Tianjin, China. After that, he worked at the National Center for Nanoscience and Technology in Beijing, China, as a postdoctoral researcher. From June 2015 to June 2018, he worked at UESTC China as a postdoctoral researcher. From June 2015 to July 2018, he worked at Ohio University as a postdoctoral researcher.
In his spare time, he enjoys his family time. He also likes travelling a lot.
